The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) is the non-profit, scientific and educational organization that oversees the nation’s organ transplant system. UNOS was operating four distinct websites across two legacy CMS systems. Sharing information across the four domains had become increasingly difficult and making content updates often required development support. UNOS wanted to replatform to a modern CMS but needed help identifying which platform would best serve their needs. They turned to Veracity for a CMS assessment as well as a heuristic evaluation of their existing sites to help support the selection process. We performed an in-depth site analysis to better understand their current processes, identify pain points and determine areas for improvement. Based on our findings, we identified several CMS platforms to evaluate. We then measured each platform against their unique set of requirements to narrow our recommendation to two leading CMS solutions.
