Evolent Health is leading the charge in redefined healthcare systems. By partnering with provider organizations, health systems, physician groups and provider-sponsored health plans, Evolent is driving the shift from fee-for-service, to a value-based care model.
With increased pressure and demand on health systems to lower costs and increase the quality of care, Evolent has experienced exponential growth, forming partnerships with many health systems in the nation. Each partner engagement required integration of Evolent’s population health management platform with the client’s enterprise applications, as well as leadership and advisory services to drive the implementations. With the number of integrations, this was no small feat. Evolent needed a partner with extensive healthcare knowledge and the technical expertise to assist with their implementation efforts.
Veracity was asked to lead several of Evolent’s partner implementations. This required us to leverage our deep healthcare experience to quickly understand the Evolent business model and the platform technology. We used our innate consulting skills to work directly with Evolent partners and be the Evolent “face” to these respective partners. In essence, Veracity consultants were being asked to be double agents, managing both the Evolent relationship as well as Evolent Partner relationships.
Since each implementation is unique, we leveraged many of the tools and methodologies we’ve learned over time and applied those strategies to various Evolent partners.
Evolent expected that it would take 3-4 months for each consultant to gain the understanding necessary to deliver value for just one partner implementation. Within 3-4 weeks, our consultants were leading the clients’ teams in their partner implementations. Through our agile approach and skilled consultants, we were able to manage multiple partner implementations in parallel.
In the end, Veracity exceeded client expectations on all fronts by improving impact of implementations, increasing efficiency and driving lasting partner relationships. Our consultants provided leverage for Evolent, freeing up their most experienced partner delivery leads to work on new and troubled accounts. We were able to help Evolent grow their practice, enhance value and increase client satisfaction.
